ANLA makes announcement

WASHINgTON, D.C.

Geoff Galster has joined the American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA) professional staff as director of regulatory affairs. ANLA is the Washington, DC based trade association representing over 2,200 firms who grow, sell and use landscape plants. In this position, he will oversee the association's small-business regulatory advocacy activities.

His responsibilities will include coordinating regulatory initiatives involving agricultural, labor, environmental, tax and small business issues; participating in association/corporate coalitions; and handling member and association contact on federal small business regulatory issues.

Prior to joining ANLA, Galster served as assistant manager of government affairs for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association in Washington, DC.
