Design Award Honors Park and Amenities

Manufactured by Poligon®, a division of W.H. Porter, Inc., the pavilion is constructed of white powder-coated, oversized steel columns and decorative beams. The tubular steel shelter was fabricated to specifications, and then shipped to the park for bolt-together installation. The structure will be used for community gatherings, concerts and celebrations.

HOLLAND, Mich. - A new picnic shelter in Holland Township's Dunton Park was part of this year's Design Facility Award from the Michigan Recreation and Park Association. A decorative plaque was presented to the township during the association's annual conference in Grand Rapids. Located near the shore of Lake Macatawa, the picnic shelter is part of a 6.9 acre addition to the west end of the park. M.C. Smith Associates Group, Inc., designed the original concept for the pavilion.
