Cultec Releases Stormgenie???(R)???AE???? Version 2.0

Cultec has released its StormGenie StormGenie???(R)???AE???? version 2.0 automated drawing program. The program is used in conjunction with the company's updated Stormwater Design Calculator to draw proposed stormwater systems in AutoCAD???(R)???AE????.

A redesigned StormGenie automated drawing program simplifies design of stormwater system. Cultec has released its StormGenie???(R)???AE???? v.2.0 automated drawing program, which is used in conjunction with the company’s updated Stormwater Design Calculator. It calculates the system and the StormGenie draws the proposed system in AutoCAD???(R)???AE????.

The AutoCAD plug-in simplifies the design phase and allows clients to generate project-specific AutoCAD drawings for the company’s Contactor???(R)???AE???? and Recharger???(R)???AE???? stormwater systems. The CAD drawings are fully usable, may be modified and incorporated into existing plans and used in final designs.

The Stormwater Design Calculator is a Microsoft Excel???(R)???AE???? spreadsheet that calculates stormwater systems in both English and Metric. The program provides a list of materials for easy estimating, including the bed area required, a breakdown of storage provided and produces a custom cross section detail based on the design parameters entered.

After the users complete the spreadsheet, they open AutoCAD, browse for the saved spreadsheet and run the StormGenie. It will then automatically generate CAD drawings based on the system that was proposed in the calculator program.

The drawings include: project-specific designs, Internal Manifold System, accurate center-to-center spacing and system dimensions, dimensional call-outs, legend and hatching, a list of materials for easy take-offs and storage provided all within seconds eliminating guess-work and potential inaccuracies.
