AMERCIUS, Ga. - Cooper Lighting is issuing a call for entries for its 25th annual National Lighting Design Competition. Held under the auspices of ASID, the competition focuses on furthering the understanding, knowledge and function of lighting as a primary element in interior design.
The competition is open to any lighting designer, architect, interior designer or professional that uses light in an interior or exterior permanent application and requires the use of any or all Cooper Lighting brands. Students in any of these disciplines are also eligible to enter any conceptual work dealing with lighting. These conceptual entries will be judged in a separate student category.
Projects will be judged on the blending of aesthetics and technical performance and if the lighting met project and design concept goals.
Judging will be in late August by a panel of ASID members.
