Cooper Lighting Opens Training Center

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - Cooper Lighting recently announced the opening of SOURCE, the Cooper Lighting Center, at their new corporate division headquarters in Peachtree City. The lighting training center, comprised of nine application areas (vignettes), seven showrooms, an auditorium and a Fundamentals/Technology room, offer classes taught by professionally certified lighting consultants to industry professionals and students seeking to advance their lighting knowledge. SOURCE plans to service approximately 5000 students annually.

Cooper originally opened SOURCE in Elk Grove Village, Ill., in 1991 and was the first company to express a total corporate commitment to the advancement of lighting education and helped set the industry standard for state-of-the-art training facilities. The company has been educating the lighting industry for over 10 years and has serviced more than 55,000 professionals and students.

SOURCE is a 35,000-square foot state-of-the-art training and education center created to serve achitects, interior designers, facility managers, lighting designers, engineers, store and restaurant planners, electrical contractors, builders, remodelers, distributors and students, and other with a need to advance illumination skills and expertise.
