ATLANTA - The Southern Nursery Association recently held its annual convention in Atlanta, Georgia. The event attracted 9,664 attendees from all segments of the industry including retailers, wholesale growers, landscape professionals, manufacturers, distributors, business services providers, golf course and institutional professionals. The 1,371 booths comprised approximately 779 exhibiting firms featuring the latest information on industry news, technology and product services.

In addition to the American attendees, this year's event attracted visitors from Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Japan, and the United Kingdom. "The increased international interest represents the results of the cooperative efforts between the SNA, the Southern United States Trade Association, and our international partner, the IPM in Essen, Germany," said Danny Summers, SNA executive vice president. "The world continues to become smaller each day as new technology and innovative marketing techniques bring us closer together."
