Homestyles.com, one of the largest distributors of pre-designed home plans, and HomeProject.com have joined forces in order to capture a segment of the $180 billion home and garden market.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will offer each other's products on their respective Web sites. A revenue-sharing agreement will provide consumers with a broader choice in home design and generate immediate incremental revenues for both companies as well as their affiliates.

The new company will provide step-by-step guidance on how to plan, design, and visualize complete home improvement projects. The site will also provide expert advice coupled with materials sourcing, delivery and e-commerce.
