Organization Formed to Help Landscape Concrete Specifiers

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI

The American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) has recently formed the Decorative Concrete Council (DCC). The stated mission of this organization is to "advance the quality and use of decorative concrete systems." The goals to accomplish this mission include: Promotion of the use of decorative concrete systems; Education on the materials, methods and techniques used in the design and construction of high quality decorative concrete; and Foster interaction between Landscape Architects, architects, contractors and suppliers and all others with an interest in decorative concrete.

The DCC Advisory Board consists of Council Director Frank Piccolo, Artcrete, Inc.; Secretary-Treasurer Howard Jancy, L.M. Scofield Company; and Board Members Paul Albanelli, Albanelli Cement Contractors, Inc; Scott Arnold, Master Builders Technologies, Inc.; and Denny Ahal, Ahal Construction, Inc.
