This graduate program has grown out of our 30-year old, undergraduate baccalaureate program, accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board since 1982.

The Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture at CSU is regularly ranked by regional firms, number one regionally and number two nationally, according to an annual survey of firms taken by Design Intelligence. Graduates from this program routinely work in design and planning firms, governmental agencies, and community-based organizations throughout the United States and abroad.

Evolving profession

The Master of Landscape Architecture program at Colorado State University prepares students for the evolving profession of landscape architecture. In studio design courses, students are exposed to the wide range of issues and scales in the biophysical and human dimensions.

Students select elective coursework based on their chosen focus area. Focus areas include:

The design studio serves as the integrative place where research and intellectual inquiry are applied to site-specific design problems.
