Honoring Delos "Dos" Chappell

LAFAYETTE, CO

Design Concepts is finalizing the design for the Colorado Academy Nature Preserve that will honor the late Delos (Dos) Chappell, executive director of Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado. The company collaborated with Kiowa Engineering of Denver on the preserve's design, which will also improve flood control in the area. Chappell is being honored because he left a strong legacy of public lands stewardship throughout Colorado.
