The bill to license landscape architects in Colorado is again before the governor. This year, Gov. Bill Ritter has the power to sign the bill into law. His deadline is June 4.


The push to have landscape architecture licensure law in all 50 states hit a wall last year when Colo. Gov. William Owens (Rep.) vetoed the Landscape Architects Professional Licensing Act (HB06-1331).

This year, the landscape architecture licensure law (SB07-107) has again passed through the Colorado legislature and went to Gov. Ritter?EUR??,,????'?????<
