CLCA Honors Contractors and Architects

Thirty landscape contracting firms were honored on June 4, at the Irvine Hilton, for their award winning residential, industrial and commercial landscape projects in Orange County and Long Beach.

The Beautification Awards Competition is held annually by the Long Beach/Orange County Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) to acknowledge professional excellence in landscape installation and maintenance. According to Steve A Tamanaha of Orange Coast Landscaping, Inc. and Chapter President, over 120 landscape and maintenance projects were entered for judging.

The Meridian Award was presented for the first time at the Beautification Awards Dinner to Courtland Paul, a Landscape Architect with the Peridian Group in Irvine. The Meridian Award will be presented occasionally to an individual who has given many years of exceptional service to the green industry.
