CLCA Gives Beautification Award

The California Landscape Contractors Association of Orange County recently honored Tropical Plaza Nursery, Inc. for the work it did at the Ridgeview Street property in Villa Park.

The California Landscape Contractors Association of Orange County recently presented a Villa Park-based company with a Beautification Award for a project that it carried out in town.

Tropical Plaza Nursery, Inc., a licensed landscape contractor, was awarded first place in the Commercial, Industrial, and Retail Conservation category for its work at the Ridgeview Street property in the city of Villa Park.

The one-half acre slope is owned by the city and in a residential area with privately owned homes, said Les Fields, Tropical Plaza's president. Tropical Plaza Landscape designed and installed the landscape using water-conserving irrigation devices and drought-tolerant plants.
