CLARB Names 2025-26 Board of Directors

Association Introduces Four New Board Members

CLARB announces its 2025-26 board of directors, welcoming new leaders dedicated to advancing landscape architecture.

The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) has announced its 2025-26 board of directors and committees, introducing a diverse group of volunteer leaders who will guide the organization's mission to advance landscape architecture regulation and protect the public.

Licensed landscape architect Brian Verardo has assumed the role of president. As managing partner of Pland Collaborative, an Albuquerque-based firm with projects across multiple states, Verardo brings deep experience in design innovation and strategic leadership. He has served CLARB in numerous capacities since 2010, including as Exam Committee member, director-at-large, and president-elect.

"Brian brings exceptional strategic vision and collaborative leadership to our organization, having been instrumental in developing the CLARB 2.0 Strategic Framework," said Matt Miller, CEO of CLARB. "His dedication to building partnerships and elevating the profession's recognition within design and STEM fields positions him as an invaluable asset to our continued success."

Allison Fleury, principal of Inside Out Landscape Architecture in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, was elected president-elect, continuing her 15-year history of service to CLARB. Joel Kurokawa, founder of Ki Concepts in Honolulu, Hawaii, completes his term as past president and chair of the Leadership Advisory Council.

New directors-at-large include Zara Brown, a Hamilton, Ontario-based landscape architect and advocate for equity in design, and Erin Jennings, an architect and interior designer from Indianapolis, Indiana, who brings cross-disciplinary expertise and credentialing board experience.
