City Parks Alliance Looking for Input from Industry for Next COVID-Related Webinar

Survey Deadline April 17th at 1pm ET

The upcoming webinar is meant to bring park professionals together with ideas on how to gradually reopen parks and programs.

To help plan and strategize the eventual reopening of parks, City Parks Alliance is asking park professionals to complete a 5-question survey giving ideas and information that can help the process be safe and effective.

Strategies could include:
• Beginning to coordinate more closely with local health officials or leaders to determine what may be possible in the coming months

• Considering various contingencies for aquatics programming and summer camps
• Starting to look at and weigh different options related to regular programs and events
• Strategizing how to leverage the current urgency around park access to make the case for park investments in the future or build your park constituency
• Planning your communications strategy to keep the public engaged during the summer if programming will look different
• Planning for more robust virtual offerings
• Engaging in scenario planning
• Holding regular team meetings to discuss these issues
• Other relevant ideas your agency wants to share!
Topics will be discussed in the new COVID-related webinar coming soon. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete, according to the association, and must be done by Friday, April 17 at 1pm ET.
