Slide on wire canopies have become a common part of modern outdoor design for their simplicity, beauty and ability to provide shade when needed, and retract easily when desired. However, the canopies have many drawbacks because they are custom made. To fit properly, these canopies require precise pre-measurement, fabric and color selection, weeks of fabrication and finally installation. Once installed the custom canopies can't be modified and any repairs (if possible) require a trip back to the shop.

Dr. Alan Shargani encountered these challenges firsthand as a consumer, and felt that the current canopies were inadequate. So, he designed a revolutionary version that is flexible, versatile and can fit any space. That's how he came up with Infinity Canopy.

It's adaptable to any space, eliminating the need for custom canopies. Every aspect of Infinity Canopy can be controlled by the user to create infinite configuration and design possibilities, which can't be replicated by any other shade system.

The most compelling feature of these shade structures is the ability to create a single or multicolored canopy, and change it within minutes. It can be modified after installation. He explains, "You can start with a single colored canopy and change it after installation to match the colors of new furniture, celebrate with your team's colors, or to turn your canopy red, white and blue for the 4th of July," said Shargani.

The product was recently unveiled at the awning industry's main annual event, IFAI EXPO in Minneapolis. Infinity Canopy won the Show Stoppers award in the finished goods category.
