This project focused on the needs of middle schoolers which play space investments are typically thought of for younger children. This space uses the entire landscape and 13 foot+ grade change from building doors to enhance movement and play opportunities for these older children. Paths, plant material and topography play an equal role as equipment to engage children in quality play. This space has grown as a community gathering space during non-school time hours.
