Burbank Offers Rebate
For Water-Saving Yards

 

Burbank homeowners can earn between $250 and $1,000 if they replace the grass on their front lawns with drought-tolerant and non-invasive plants as part of a Burbank Water and Power program.

Approved recently, the program could save an estimated 750,000 gallons of water this fiscal year alone. Landscape contractors can use this as a selling point to change out their clients' landscapes.

To be eligible for the one-time, $1-per-square-foot rebate, each project must cover at least 250 square feet and comply with a list of rules. Residents who have already converted, or are in the process of converting, their lawns aren't eligible.???(R)???AE'?N????e'?N,A+ burbankwaterandpower.com
