Bugbot Drones Have Already Been Built

Equipped with micro-sensors, they may hover or crawl, moving unobtrusively to the target. They could do visual reconnaissance, such as detecting chemical, biological or radiation threats and relay that information. They could be deadly, too, carrying explosives, combustibles or deadly chemicals. The mind reels.
