Focused on green and sustainable issues, the second annual Bio-Nutritional Summit will be held the day before the Green Industry Expo begins in Louisville, Ky. The summit is sponsored by Holganix, a manufacturer of an organic bio-nutritional product that is designed to decrease disease and insect damage to turf, shrubs, flowers and trees through root and cell wall development. The manufacturer markets its plant health care products to landscape contractors, lawn care providers and golf course superintendents among others. Subjects explored at the event will range from growth and profit potential arising out of the green movement, to turf, shrub and tree fertility. Judith M. Guido, chairwoman of Guido and Associates, will give the keynote address entitled, "Leveraging the Green Phenomenon and Building a Profitable company." Other speakers include Barrett Ersek, CEO of Holganix, Stephen T. Lange, scientist and inventor of Holganix, and Cale A. Bigelow, Ph.D. of Purdue University. Guido says, "I'd describe the swell of interest and growth in the green and sustainable markets as a tsunami! I'll share the latest research, trends, myths and opportunities around growing a profitable green and sustainable company." The event will take place at the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville on October 23, from 2:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. For information on attending the Bio-Nutritional Summit and securing a seat, contact Nicole Wise at 866-563-2784 or nwise@holganix.com.
