Bear Den Estates is Arkansas' first conservation neighborhood to feature mountain biking trails throughout the protected greenspaces and a protected mountain. We designed our park/playground area (see below) to fit in harmoniously within the existing natural environments. Through extensive design planning and tree preservation techniques, we were able to save most trees in the park and "tuck" in a beautiful playground from Burke. Several 36"+ oak trees were saved during construction. We designed and built natural stone retaining walls, seat walls, and stone steps to complement the playground equipment and turf surfacing. The playground serves as a community hub for our sustainable residential neighborhood in the heart of Little Rock.
