Bayer AG. has won regulatory approval for its Movento insecticide in the United States and Canada.
The German chemicals and drugs company said in a statement that spirotetramat, the active ingredient in Movento, could generate annual sales of up to $315 million in the medium term.
Bayer plans to seek approval for the pesticide in more 70 countries, it added.
