Barr was proud to organize the Environmental Challenge again this year for undergraduate students at the Conference on the Environment, which was co-hosted by Central States Water Environment Association and Upper Midwest Section of the Air & Waste Management Association in Minneapolis earlier this month. A team from the University of St. Thomas won the $1,500 grand prize.
In October, 40 Barr employees got together to help build a home in Minneapolis for Habitat for Humanity! Barr staff and other volunteers hung sheetrock, built a basement staircase, and built and stained a new deck.
