Asphalt Art Initiative Applications Are Open

Grants Up To $100,000 Available

The Asphalt Art Initiative has opened its applications for 2025 grants, offering funding to cities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico with a population of 50,000 or more for large-scale visual art projects that will make public areas safer, more welcoming, and more accessible. This year, the program will award up to $100,000 each to 10 cities who submit projects related to pedestrian . Applications are due January 31, 2025. To date, Bloomberg Philanthropies has supported 90 asphalt art projects throughout North America and Europe through this initiative with the goal of revitalizing public spaces and promoting civic engagement.
