This has been a unique and challenging year for all Chapters including ours, but out of challenge can sometimes come great transformations. In order to help provide continuing educational opportunities to our membership during this time of COVID, the Chapter started a Monthly Webinar Series. Speakers have included Mary Margaret Jones of Heargraves Jones ("Water + Dirt + Building"), Mike Cook and Rico Velaquez of Musco Lighting ("Sports Field Lighting"), and Connie Scothorn and Brian Patric of CLS & Associates ("Nature As It Could Be... A New Look at Landscape Architecture").

 

Jeff Pugh stepped down as Chapter trustee after many years of gracious service to the Chapter. Geoff Evans will be taking his place. Derek McCall is current president and will be handing the reigns to Scott Fairbairn. The new president elect will be Candace Melton Dillingham. Jacoby Gonzales has been heavily involved as the Student Advisory Committee chair to ASLA and also on the Emerging Professionals Committee and Member Services Committee.
