The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) reports the registration for their 2009 annual meeting in Chicago, September 18-21, is one-third higher than the 2008 event in Philadelphia at the same time last year, and well ahead of the 2007 San Francisco meeting pace. The San Francisco meeting had 7,000 attendees, the largest gathering of landscape architecture professionals in the ASLA?EUR??,,????'?????<

If the rate of registration continues as strongly as in previous years, more than 7,000 landscape architecture professionals, product manufacturers and service providers will be in Chicago this September. Highlights for attendees include:

  • An economic outlook for the industry by noted economist Kermit Baker, a senior research Fellow at Harvard University?EUR??,,????'?????<
