Starting in September, Nitzky will serve in this capacity for one year before assuming the role of President in Fall 2027. Nitzky's stated goals include pushing the ASLA to become a more active voice in mainstream media, providing business resources and tools for members, creating more opportunities for K-12 students to encounter landscape architecture, and enabling teachers to provide exposure to the profession.

As her second consecutive run for President-Elect, Nitzky will succeed former running mate and incumbent President-Elect Gretchen Wilson, PLA, FASLA, LEED AP, WEDG, who will be sworn in as President in September. Two new Vice Presidents were also elected. Taylor Keegan, PLA, ASLA, from Alaska will oversee Membership and Andrew Wickham, PLA, ASLA, from Northern California will lead Professional Practice.
