The National Academy Museum joins the Brooklyn Museum and the New York Historical Society in honoring the accomplishments of pioneering American landscape painter Asher B. Durand. The exhibition explores Durand?EUR??,,????'?????<???EUR?s leadership as a founding member of the National Academy of Design and consists of 20 works, including paintings, prints, sculpture and manuscripts from the academy?EUR??,,????'?????<???EUR?s permanent collection.
Other artists featured include Frederic Edwin Church and Ralph Albert Blakelock.
The exhibition at the National Academy Museum runs through December 30.
