ASCA Launches New Webinar Series

ASCA, the national association for consulting arborists, has launched a new webinar series, Introduction to Engineering and Architectural Plans.

The American Society of Consulting Arborists has announced the launch of their latest two-part webinar series, Introduction to Engineering and Architectural Plans. This series will be your primer on the plans typically used by engineers, land planners, developers, builders, and architects for development projects.

Objectives:

Learn about the various types of plans

Know which plans you need to request

Understand who prepares those plans

Additionally, you will understand:

What the plans are used for in the planning/development process
The stages of development, so you don't ask for something that has yet to be prepared in the usual progression of planning and development
How to read the plans
What to look for
Basic engineering and planning language

Speaker, Christy Cuba, is a Registered Consulting Arborist, Certified Arborist, and a Qualified Tree Risk Assessor that works with Carlberg Associates in Southern California. She is the current President for Street Tree Seminar, Inc. and has presented at Western Chapter ISA and ASCA Conferences, and is a contributing member of the ASCA Education Task Force.

Cost to attend is $70 for ASCA members and $140 for non-members. ASCA have approved this series for two CEUs (one CEU per part).
