For more than 25 years, Natural Environmental, Inc. (NELM) has been providing landscape maintenance and construction services to commercial and residential customers. Recently they teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club of San Diego to install a new playing field ?EUR??,,????'??? free of charge.

he field was a volunteer project created and donated to the Boys and Girls Club by NELM ?EUR??,,????'??? it is a job that would have cost approximately $25,000 ?EUR??,,????'??? $30,000.

NELM President, Ken O?EUR??,,????'???Haver explained the turf project. ?EUR??,,????'??Our scope of work included soil-prep, irrigation installation, grading and sod installation,?EUR??,,????'?? said O?EUR??,,????'???Haver. ?EUR??,,????'??Additional volunteers from the Boys and Girls Club helped us in the sod installation.?EUR??,,????'??

Boys and Girls Club Director, Michelle Regan, felt that the project was a success.

?EUR??,,????'??Ken and his team made the whole process extremely easy,?EUR??,,????'?? said Regan. ?EUR??,,????'??They asked us what we wanted, designed the field and then did all the work. It was one of the easiest renovation projects we have ever done.?EUR??,,????'??

Before the new turf was installed, the kids had been playing on a dirt field. Understandably, the project was a welcome change for everyone who utilizes the facility.

?EUR??,,????'??The kids were thrilled to see the field go in,?EUR??,,????'?? said Regan. ?EUR??,,????'??They have been playing on a dirt field for so long that they couldn?EUR??,,????'???t believe we?EUR??,,????'???re putting in grass. Parents and staff are pleased too. The dirt field was an eyesore that brought down the look of the facility.

The new grass field makes the whole place brighter and friendlier.?EUR??,,????'??
The Boys and Girls Club project isn?EUR??,,????'???t the first volunteer project NELM has been involved in.
