Where Students Worked After Graduating

The Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board's annual summary revelated that a total of 772 undergraduate and 673 graduates students graduated from landscape architecture programs in 2020.

The Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board's (LAAB) summary of 2020 annual reports revealed a number of trends and data related to the education side of the industry. In 2020, the United States had 47 LAAB accredited undergraduate landscape architecture programs and 52 graduate programs for a total of 99 programs found in 73 universities throughout the country. Within those programs there were 5613 total students enrolled, broken down into 3571 undergraduate and 2042 graduate. The total number reflects a net increase of 2.58% from 2019.

772 undergraduate and 673 graduate students graduated from an accredited program. Broken down by gender, the graduates were made up of 47% female to 53% male students at the undergraduate level. However, the graduate figures showed 64% female to 36% male.

Other data showed the career paths of the graduates from the 2018-2019 class.
