Richard Sperber, president and COO of ValleyCrest Companies, Calabasas, Calif., met with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez on Aug. 24th in Las Vegas to discuss President Bush?EUR??,,????'???s plan for immigration reform. Joined by other local business leaders, Sperber, a member of the American Nursery and Landscape Association (ANLA), represented the nursery and landscape industry.

Sperber came away impressed with Gutierrez?EUR??,,????'??? leadership at the meeting. ?EUR??,,????'??It was obvious to me and everyone in the room that this administration understands the need for comprehensive reform.?EUR??,,????'??
