Attention Landscape Architects: there is membership available to you in a society which you may not be familiar with called American Design Drafting Association (ADDA). This organization was established in 1959 to aid in the professional growth and advancement of the professional working in the design and drafting community. ADDA is devoted to the designer and drafter in all areas including construction, utilities, engineering, manufacturing, education, and government. At the current time, ADDA has not had the opportunity to work with and include Landscape Architects in their membership organization. Rachel Howard, Executive Director of ADDA told LASN that their organization would welcome Landscape Architects as part of their membership. Membership is available to designers, drafted instructors, students, and managers in industry, government and education; institutional membership is also offered to the academic institutions that provide design and drafting curriculum. Supplier membership is offered to companies which provide products and services to the design and drafting industry.
