The NJLCA has selected a new executive director. Alexander Gettler has extensive experience in trade association management. He has held management positions at several local and national trade associations such as the National Fire Sprinkler Association. In these positions, he has been responsible for the overall administration of the associations under his supervision handling finances, membership retention, recruitment and government relations.

"We are truly pleased to announce that following a considered and broad search, Al Gettler has been selected for the executive director position at the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association," said NJLCA president, Nelson Lee. "We are looking forward to working with Al to accomplish all of our goals."

Gettler has taught various courses in employee benefits at New York University, Fairleigh Dickinson University and the College of Insurance. He earned his MBA in Economics from New York University and holds a Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University. He also earned the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist accreditation. He lives in Pearl River, N.Y. with his wife and two children.
