Course Description:

This presentation will cover the basic Affordable Care Act provisions as originally passed in 2010, as well as the numerous changes. There will be a detailed discussion on how this affects individuals and employers in California. Many of the questions that will be answered include - which employers must offer coverage or pay a fine, non-compliance penalties, loop holes, what other companies are doing, how to count employees, and more.

Biography:

Michael Bernardini, a part owner of Bernardini & Donovan Insurance Services Inc., majored in Business Marketing & History at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and then set his sights for the West Coast.

Michael has 28 years experience in the insurance business in California and is licensed in Accident & Health, life only and is a Property & Casualty broker. He is a Certified Covered CA agent and is PPACA (Patient Protection Affordable Care Act) certified from the National Association of Health Underwriters.
