ACC Employees Achieve Certification

DENVER?EUR??,,????'??+Four employees of the American Civil Constructors (ACC) earned certification from the Associated Landscape Contractors of America. Justin Steward, Antonio DeLuna and David Brooks all passed the Certified Landscape Technician (exterior) exam; Kurt DeLucero, passed the Certified Landscape Professional exam. Less than one percent of all landscape professionals are CLTs or CLPs. The CLT exam is a combination of a day-long, hands-on challenge and a two to three hour written exam. the hands-on part requires the candidates to demonstrate mental and physical abilities under time constraints. The CLP is a six-hour exam that covers all aspects of working in the landscape industry and covers five areas: 1) business, risk, law and contracts; 2) human resources and health/safety; 3) interior or exterior production/operation; 4) horticulture; 5) sales, marketing, communications and public relations.
