The City of Maize envisioned creating a downtown/ Main Street for their community, since this community did not currently have this. PEC was hired to design the ? 1/2 mile of Academy Street, Streetscape, and community park/ amphitheater. These new improvements will serve as the heart of the community.

 

The upcoming Hardscapes Issue of Landscape Architect and Specifier News saw many firms submit their projects for feature consideration. This project was not chosen for a Feature in the issue, but we at LandscapeArchitect.com thought the project deserved to be showcased online . . .
