In collaboration, the National Association of Landscape Professionals and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are offering a 10-Hour Construction Course specific to the landscape industry. This safety-training course is approved by OSHA and designed by NALP. The sessions are taught by authorized trainers who provide principals and field employees with detailed knowledge on recognizing and preventing workplace hazards, along with information on "workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and filing a complaint." Two more courses will be offered in October. From October 10-11, the Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies will host a course in Sacramento, Calif. The price per student is $99, which includes all course materials. The second class will take place October 16-17, at the Omni Hotel in Louisville, Ky. For non-member students to attend this session, the price is $150.You can also host a course at your facility. At the completion of the course, you will receive 10 CEU credits and a certificate.
