Beavers: Friend or Foe?

Results of a study conducted by the University of Georgia's Savannah River Ecology Laboratory found that beavers create a favorable environment for other wildlife. Beavers contribute to the diversity of bird species in streamside areas by creating new wetlands, which enhances nesting and feeding opportunities.
