Following the previous news article on the positive impact of renovated play spaces (click HERE), the National Recreation and Park Association has announced the 2019 Play Spaces grants for the Meet Me at the Park campaign. Along with the $1 million donation provided by the Walt Disney Company, the funding supports projects that increase access to play spaces and promotes the benefits of play in local parks.As planned, 25 communities are receiving $30,000. The following is a complete list of the cities and projects:• City of King Cove, Alaska -King Cove Playground• City of Eureka, California - Clara May Berry Park/Humboldt County Library• City of Morgan Hill, California - Galvan Park
