ELA, a nonprofit organization, which uses environmentally safe and beneficial landscape practices, will host their 20th annual conference, February 26 – 27, 2014 in Springfield, Mass.

The Ecological Landscape Alliance will host their 20th Annual Conference & Eco-Marketplace: Sustaining the Living Landscape on February 26 - 27 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass. Attendees will learn how to protect local landscapes from the rising pressures of drought, deluge, temperature extremes, invasive species, and more.

Admission includes educational sessions and workshops, breakfast and lunch, access to vendors of ecological products and services, Jazz Social Hour, and networking opportunities.

Wednesday offers two intensive workshops: Maintaining Tree Health and Soil: the Base Layer of Ecological Health, plus a Keynote Dinner with Dr. John Todd: Healing the Waters: A Tale of Ecology and Living Technologies.

Thursday begins early with a hands-on workshop to install a green roof complete with vegetated mats, followed by 12 sessions covering a wide range of topics from design inspiration to problem solving.
