Jamie Fogle, PLA, ASLA, is a highly respected design leader whose career demonstrates how technical excellence can elevate landscape architecture into places of lasting beauty, performance, and public value. Over nearly three decades with Design Workshop, he has built a distinguished body of work defined by precision, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of how landscapes are constructed and sustained over time. Fogle is exceptional for his ability to translate design vision into built reality with clarity and rigor. As Technical Principal, he leads and mentors teams across multiple offices, guiding more than 130 designers while establishing standards that ensure projects perform as intended. His influence extends firmwide through the development of Landscape Architecture Documentation Standards-an award-winning resource that has strengthened design quality and constructability across the profession. His portfolio includes a wide range of impactful projects across the country. In Salt Lake City, he is leading the complex rehabilitation of historic Pioneer Park, balancing preservation, sustainability, and community needs to create a resilient and inclusive public space. In Denver, projects such as Boulevard One and 1144 Fifteenth Street demonstrate how high-performance landscapes can support urban life while reflecting regional ecosystems. His work on the Glacier Club, recognized with a National ASLA Honor Award, set a precedent for environmentally responsive golf course design.
