2025 LAF Olmsted Scholars Announced

91 Student Leaders Recognized

In its 18th year, LAF awarded two national winners, six finalists, and 91 total student leaders with this year's LAF Olmsted Scholars.

The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) announced 91 student leaders honored in the 2025 Olmsted Scholars Program - including two national winners and six finalists.

Two independent juries awarded the finalists and winners from a pool of 53 graduate and 38 undergraduate students that were nominated by faculty of their prospective university for their work. Each accredited program in the U.S. and Canada recognizes one student. There have been 1,254 LAF Olmsted Scholars named since the program began in 2008.

Master's student at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Issam Azzam and UC Davis undergraduate student, Olive Tang received a $25,000 and $15,000 award respectively as the 2025 National Olmsted Scholars.
