The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) announced the fourth cohort of LAF Ignite award winners.

 

Seven students were selected for the multi-year program that includes an annual $10,000 scholarship, paid summer internships, and mentorship opportunities. These new awardees join four continuing LAF Ignite students from previous cohorts as the 2025-26 cycle launches in September.

MLA candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, Sariyah Benoit, BSLA candidate at NC A&T State University, Gabriella Bishop, MLA candidate at North Carolina State University, Drea Blackburn, University of Virginia MLA candidate Jeida Brooks, Zakai Drew and Aisha Estrada BSLA candidates at Cal Poly Pomona, and MLA candidate at the University of Oklahoma Frank Hicks were selected to explore different career paths within landscape architecture.
