2020 Green Industry Hall of Fame Inductees

Televised Awards Ceremony November 7 at 9am

John Hourian is among the 2020 inductees and has been in the green industry since 1964. He holds a license in landscape architecture in California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington and Utah and has served as president for the Southern California Chapter of the ASLA.

Since 2005, the Green Industry Hall of Fame has awarded individuals who have made exceptional and positive impacts to the industry. The organization states they recognize pioneers, leaders, innovators, creators and visionaries, and they are committed to preserving the rich history of these great people.

This year's inductees are:
Chris Davey, The Toro Company
John Greenlee, Greenlee & Associates

Walt Hagen*, Hagen Enterprises
Don and Dave Hendrickson, Hendrickson Bros.
John Hourian, Hourian Associates
Kathy Kellogg Johnson, Kellogg Garden Products
Lebo Newman, Signature Coast Holdings
*posthumous induction

Each year nominations are made, and inductees are announced at the Green Industry Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony. Due to COVID-19, this year's induction ceremony was filmed at the Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona del Mar, California, and will be televised at 9:00 am PST Saturday, November 7 on PBS|KLCS TV on the program Things Green with Nick Federoff.
