Throughout his 16-year career Steven Spears has masterfully integrated the principles of environmental sensitivity, community benefit, economic sustainability and sensory art and aesthetic elements in each landscape architecture project in which he has been engaged. His body of work proves that no matter how complex the project or how fast a city is growing, designs can be implemented with sensitivity and grace. These results are realized in several of the national award-winning projects he has led, including Wimberley Blue Hole Regional Park; Houston Arboretum and Nature Center; Lafitte Greenway and Corridor Revitalization plans; Residences at the Little Nell; and Avon West Town Center Redevelopment and Implementation.
