This project's success is attributed to the close collaboration between Stanley Consultants, the developer, Forest City, and the sculptural installation firm Artscapes. The theme for the development symbolically tells the story of water in Colorado as it descends from mountain to plain. The telling of that story in an artful, interactive and contextual manner is witness to the project's enduring popularity.

West Valley City Plaza West Valley City, Utah

This $1.5 million multimodal plaza offers a performance canopy and stage and water feature. The plaza is used for public events, including a farmers' market. The performance canopy was developed in collaboration with renowned Tucson artist Barbara Grygutis. This significant transit-oriented redevelopment includes connectivity to downtown Salt Lake City via bus and rail lines, and to adjacent retail, commercial and residential districts.
