2014 Firms: Firms of the Rocky Mountain States11-01-14 | News
Firms of the Rocky Mountain States

Editors Steve Kelly, Alli Martin and Larry Shield

With the ASLA Expo/annual meeting this year in Denver, LASN salutes the landscape architectural work of firms in Colorado and its Rocky Mountain neighbors: Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, Idaho and Montana.

Twenty-seven firms participated this year in presenting their project work. We asked the firms to send us a short biographical profile, plus photography of at least three projects, with a brief description of the design work for each project. We let the firms speak for themselves in their profiles and in describing the projects, although we do have to edit to fit the space.

We selected the images we thought best represented each project. As there wasn't room in the magazine to publish all the individual project photos submitted by the firms, LASN has made those available at www.landscapearchitect.com, and in the digital magazine. The unique five-digit number below each firm profile is a clickable link in the digital magazine to the firm's profile and all the project images (iPad compatible). That number is also the search criterion to take you to the firm's profile at www.landscapearchitect.com.

Thank you, Firms of the Rocky Mountain States, for participating! We look forward to seeing you in Denver.

Coming in 2015: With the ASLA Show set for Chicago next year, LASN will present in the November issue the "Firms of the Midwest": Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
