Lushan West Sea Club House, Jiujiang City, China

DTJ Design provided visioning, planning, landscape architecture and architecture for this unique golf club house and gardens. The design for the Lushan West Sea Golf Club combines golf and gardens. The project represents the contemporary integration of all things golf and garden, expressing traditional and regional forms, materials, patterns and artwork in memorable and dynamic ways, creating a journey of discovery through the landscape.

Gateway Canyon Resort, Gateway, Colo.

DTJ Design provided visioning, planning, landscape architecture and architecture for the Gateway Canyons Resort, developed by the founder of the Discovery Channel, is an award-winning destination for adventure, learning and relaxation in one of the most spectacular landscapes in the West. Amenities include Palisade Casitas and the Kayenta Lodge, which offer personal patios with fire pits and spas, the Palisade Pool (two leisure pools and a hot tub/spa) and a Cantina. From the arrival porte cochère to the Gateway Canyon Spa, the grounds are luxuriously landscaped with colorful xeriscape plantings.

Anthem, Broomfield, Colo.

DTJ Design provided visioning, planning and landscape architecture for this community's open space areas and parks. Preservation and enhancement of drainage corridors, cottonwood groves and views to the Rocky Mountains were critical to the design. Other supporting drivers were links to regional trails, incorporation of water features, outdoor gathering areas and strong ties to the architecture. Good pedestrian connectivity was essential. Onsite trails were woven though seating areas, grasslands and tree groves, as well as crossing the wetlands by a bridge for minimal impact.
