Willow Creek Elementary Meridian, Idaho

A partner with LKV Architects and CM Company on design and construction of this new elementary school, the landscape architect's role was production of a full site development package, design of site circulation and layout, as well as comprehensive site detailing. Elements include a concrete entry plaza with planters and seat walls, sidewalks, playgrounds, ball fields and hardscape play areas. The design considered function and safety requirements for a student drop-off zone, as well as two separate parking areas. The landscape architect specified playground equipment and site furnishings, providing design details for ramps and handrails, and did irrigation and landscape plans.
